2013 marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life and the fulfillment of a long time dream to pursue a professional ice show career. I’m currently performing as a soloist with the Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas Ice Show. The Ship has home port in Bayonne, New Jersey and we cruise to ports throughout the Caribbean and also to Canada. Here is a link to my solo number, “Over the Rainbow”: http://youtu.be/h5IfZAdvUYw
My favorite career competition season was definitely 2011! The European Championships in Bern, Switzerland were the thrill of a lifetime. Starting with the qualifying freeskate event was a historic first for skating. It was a thrill to make it through the next cut during the Short Program and I had the time of my life skating the long program during finals.
The 2011 World Championships in Tokyo, Japan were cancelled by the ISU because of the terrible earthquake and Tsunami. The 2011 World Championships were rescheduled for Moscow, Russia and the organizing committee pulled off a well organized competiton with only a few weeks notice! Once again we started with a historic first at Worlds with the competition beginning with the qualifying freeskate. I was so pleased to make the cut and perform the short program.Share
