The 2012 Danish Championships were held in Hvidovre at my home clubs rink. I had a wonderful time at the event and will once again be representing Denmark at the 2012 European Championships in Sheffield, England and the 2012 Worlds in Nice, France.

I love my new short program with choreography by Judy Blumberg.  It has a Swan Lake theme with a modern twist including drums.

The really exciting news is that my new Iphone Figure Skating App is out. The website is: sk8sports.com. It has downloadable video clips of all skating skills from first steps on the ice to the double axel. In addition there are fun games and also a very useful sports motion analysis tool that is much easier to use and more practical than Dartfish. Please check out the sk8sports Facebook page as well.

I had a tough start to the season with a two month break from skating due to a stress fracture in my foot. My doctors took terrific care of me and I passed the time by doing many hours of Pilates and Yoga. I especially want to thank all the people at the Rehab center for the great care they gave me.

Last season was absoultely terrific with the European Championships in Bern, Switzerland. Starting with the qualifying freeskate event was a historic first for skating. It was a thrill to make it through the next cut during the Short Program and I had the tim ine of my life skating the long program during finals.

The 2011 World Championships in Tokyo, Japan were cancelled by the ISU because of the terrible earthquake and Tsunami. I feel so sad for the Japanese people and all the lives that were lost. The 2011 World Championships were rescheduled for Moscow, Russia and the organizing committee pulled off a well organized competiton with only a few weeks notice! Once again we started with a historic first at Worlds with the competition beginning with the qualifying freeskate. I was so pleased to make the cut and perform the short program.
